Our Proposals for Newlands Park, Huntingdon
Our application prioritises sustainable travel with electric vehicle charging points and attractive footway and cycleway provision connecting to Hinchingbrooke and its Country Park. The proposal will link Newlands Park, Huntingdon with development sites to the north and includes a commitment to a new underpass below the A141.
Newlands Park, Huntingdon will involve upgrades to the A141 to facilitate better access to Hinchingbrooke Business Park and align with wider infrastructure proposals. When the site is operational, HGVs will be guided to stick to main roads and travel plans will be carefully managed.
Policy compliant parking provision will be included in our proposals for this site. A detailed Transport Assessment will be submitted and consulted on as part of the planning application, which will assess capacity in the network, highway safety and identify any improvements needed.
