Our Proposals for Newlands Park, Huntingdon
The scheme will create a nature-rich environment with extensive green and blue infrastructure, making it an attractive and healthy place to work. It includes retaining hedgerows, planting new woodlands and shrubs, creating landscape buffers, strategic screening, new green linkages, a network of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), and enhancing biodiversity with meadows and species-rich grasslands.
We are committed to a sustainable development, using advanced green technologies to minimise energy and water use, and promoting green travel by improving public rights of way and reducing car dependency.
Hinchingbrooke Country Park Extension
We will link to and integrate with Hinchingbrooke Country Park and complement the new visitor centre, enhancing habitats and pedestrian links between Hinchingbrooke and the surrounding area. The development will connect existing park routes with new walking and cycling paths: ensuring seamless integration with park infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrians. Clear signage will be included to guide users and encourage exploration, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to navigate and enjoy the area.
